Q: How does my child get to their blog?

A: The fastest way for your child to get to their blog is to go to mrspetriw5.blogspot.ca, and click "kidblog" on the right hand side. 

Q: How does my child find their drafts on their blog?

A: After getting to kidblog, follow these steps:

1. Click "Log In", which is found in the top right hand corner of the page
2. Choose name from the drop down menu
3. Enter blog password (NOT google password!)
4. Click "Control Panel", which is found in the top right hand corner of the page
5. Click "Drafts" to view work that has been started
6. Continue where work was left off! Remember to save your draft when you are done, or click submit for review!

Q: What is "Drive"?

A: Drive is a Google App that we use. It is where all their documents are composed, saved, and shared. You can access "Drive" through the web (Chrome), or using the "Drive App" that many students have on their devices.

Q: How does my student access their documents from home?

A: They may access their documents through Chrome, or their Drive App. 

Using Chrome:

1. Go to www.google.ca
2. Click "sign in" (top right corner)
3. Student enters their username (email address) and password
4. Click "Drive" if on laptop or desktop, and "More" followed by "Drive" if on mobile device
5. Click on desired document 

Using App:

1. Open Drive App. 
2. Click on "My Drive" or the little folder in the top left if on an iPad
3. All documents will be listed

When you are in drive, if you are having trouble finding a document, simply search for it using the search bar at the top of the page!
